18 Dec Everything’s different, but nothing will change.
E-RM Erfindungsbüro Founder Maximilian Rest teams up with Tatsuya Takahashi to start KORG Germany, the Japanese company’s new lab in Berlin. From April 2020, the two will be running this engineering playground for musical instruments and accessories together.
„Fun and informal ways of experimentation, cooperation and collaboration were always the driving force of all my work. Built upon the experiences I had with Tats while working on various projects in the past three years, I knew we would have to find a way to work together on a more regular basis someday – here it is!
I’m excited to have the opportunity to apply my key values that have always shaped E-RM in the past and will continue to do so in the future: mutual respect for each other and thoughtful consideration of environmental resources, leading to long-lasting, sustainable products.“

For you as an E-RM customer, nothing will change. Max will stay in the role of CEO at E-RM, leading the company’s direction and overseeing future product development and maintenance as it used to be. At the same time, the team of E-RM will grow, to make sure that daily operations are kept running smoothly and that current and future product lines are rolled out as planned.
So really, be assured: everything’s different, but nothing will change. 🙂
